THine Electronic Inc. (Tokyo) and ViMOS Technologies GmbH (Munich/Taufkirchen) today announced the close of a franchise agreement for the sale of THine’s components in the European territory.
THine, founded in 1991 in Japan, is well known as the expert in LVDS-based SerDes serialization/deserialization semicondconductors to reduce cable wiring and EMI, and to extend transmission distances and bandwidths.
The products are used for the video/display interface not only in flat-screen applications but also in multifunctional machines, medical equipment, on-vehicle video equipment, security cameras, and machine vision cameras.
Joachim Hüggenberg, Sales & Marketing at ViMOS Technologies: „THine’s outstanding competency in data transmission technologies is the problem solver for connecting today’s Gigabit/s sinks and sources. ViMOS will help customers to connect their latest high resolution displays and image sensors to their host systems especially when longer than usual distances have to be bridged.“
